Christine began her journey to become a professional coach in 2011. Knee deep in her job as an auditor at a public accounting firm, she realized she needed more from her professional life. She did not feel she was accomplishing anything meaningful or making a difference in anyone’s life, having a persistent feeling of frustration and ineffectiveness. Christine suddenly felt stuck -- she holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accountancy -- what else was she qualified to do?
As it turns out, passion and skill are not always related and later that year Christine was promoted. As a milestone reward, she was sent off to a week long leadership development program where she was assigned a professional coach. A few short sessions with this coach and she could feel the gears starting to move in the right direction. Christine left the leadership development program feeling empowered, excited, and, for the first time in a long time, finally on the right path to a career better suited to her talents, values, and most importantly, her passions.
When the dust settled, she stopped to look back on her experience. Thanks to her coach, for the first time in her life she was where she wanted to be and had created these positive life changes for herself. Christine quickly realized that she wanted to be able to do for others what her coach had done for her.
